Course Description (2008, to be revised)

The principal textbook is General Equilibrium Theory: An Introduction by Ross Starr, paperback, Cambridge University Press, 1997 (I'm working on a new edition). Should be available in the campus bookstore; should be pretty inexpensive.

Exams

Exams are open-book, open-notes, other people are closed.

There will be two in-class midterms, a take-home midterm, and a take-home final exam. Planned dates: First midterm, in class, Monday, April 20. Second midterm, in class Wednesday May 20, , take-home, available on the web, Monday, May 18, due in class Wednesday May 20.

There is planned NO IN-CLASS Final exam. The planned take-home final exam will be available in hard copy in class and on the web, TBA.
