Bookstore now has the books (I am out of them).  In addition to the
sections specified in the January 5 message, read Sections 2.1, 2.2,
and 2.A.2.

If you want to familiarize yourself with the ESL program that I will be
using this quarter and the next, read Appendix C of the book.  If you
got the disk that came with the fourth edition and have a Windows/MSDOS
computer at home, then install ESL and all related files, including the
Windows interface ESLWIN.  To use ESL either at home or in Econ 100 lab,
try Practices Sessions 1 and 2 described in Section C.2.  Also do 
Practice Session 2.2.
