The link Exam 1 has details about the first
mid-term.
Homework #1 has the first homework due
on April 23, 2003.
Click Run GRETL, print the web page,
and follow the directions given.
Do this right away and bring the output to class. I will start
Chapter 4 on Monday, April 21, 2003, or at the latest on Wednesday.
You would not understand class lectures without the output. You can run
GRETL from Econ 100 lab too. If you have trouble running the program, have
some one printout an extra copy (or xerox their output).
In the above Exam1 link, the section "what to study" has been
revised to include more information. Check that out.
Answers to Homework #1.
The answer to question I in testbank CH3ANS1.pdf was wrong. The correct
answer is in Spring 98 Exam1, Page 2. The problem has been corrected.
Graded homework #1 can be picked up Monday between 10 and 11:30
or Tuesday between 12:30 pm and 2pm, during Jim Mitchell's office hours.
Because he graded the homework, all complaints should be addressed to him.
YOU HAVE TILL 2PM TUESDAY, MAY 6 TO TAKE CARE OF COMPLAINTS. If you can't
see Jim during his office hours sending him email about setting up an
appointment.
Check out Answers to Exam #1.
Homework #2 is due by 12:10 pm on May 14, 2003.
