Research Statement

My research examines the ways in which prices can influence provision and consumption of natural resources. Extending beyond classical theory, I consider elements of behavioral economics to seek a better understnding of who responds to price signals, when, and to what degree. I am furthermore attempting to incorporate some industrial organization elements ot understand how firms extract surplus from consumers with green preferences.
